How to subscribe for an ad listing plan?

In order for you to complete the process of listing your ads for auction, an ad listing plan is required. The steps below highlight the ad listing plans.

1. Login to your account and go to ‘Ad Plans’ section. Choose the ad plan that meets your need and pay using a bank card or Paseero credits. Note that you can have multiple ad plans.

2. You will receive a confirmation email if the ad plan purchase is successful.

3. You can choose the suitable ad plan from your active ad plans during ad creation.

Do you have a credit system?

Paseero.ng has a credit system that allows you to buy credit using your credit cards and debit cards. You can save on multiple bank transfer charges by buying Paseero credits, which can be used several times. The credit can be used to pay for any service on the platform. Credits are required for bidding on the platform.

How to Buy?

Go to the page of the ad item of your interest. It is important to check if the seller offers only pickup or also makes delivery. Use the ‘Buy Now’ button if you want to pay online or contact the seller to privately arrange the payment. If you pay online, for scam protection, Paseero will hold your payment until you have confirmed that you have received the item. Subsequently, Paseero immediately transfers your payment to the seller. Note that from the moment you confirm item receipt, Paseero cannot guarantee a refund in part or full. If you privately arrange a payment with the seller, Paseero is not liable for any problem related to the purchase.

How to create an ad?

First, purchase an ad plan. Second, use the create ad button to initiate ad creation. Fill in all the required information. Important steps  are deciding if your ad is the ‘classified (buy now)’ or ‘auction’ type, and if you offer only pickup and/or delivery. In the final step, you can choose optional upgrade features to increase the visibility of your ad. Finally, post your ad. Note that your ad will be reviewed by Paseero before it goes live on the website. In this period, your ad will appear under ‘pending’ in ‘My Ads’ section of your account. If your ad passes the review, it will go live, and you will be notified by email. If there’s a problem with your ad, Paseero will remove your ad from under ‘pending’ to ‘queried’ with a note to fix the problem.

How to edit my ad?

You can edit only live ads. However, note that your ad will again go through the review process by Paseero, which will take some time. Go to ‘My Ads’ section in your account. Find the ad of your choice and use the ‘Edit Ad’ button.

How to delete my ad?

Accepted Answer

You can delete only ads that do not have ongoing transactions associated with them. For ads with ongoing transactions, you will have to wait for the transaction to be completed before you can delete such ads. Go to ‘My Ads’ section in your account and use the delete button associated with the ad of your choice.

How to deactivate my live ad?

You can deactivate your ad so that it is not showing online to the website visitors. You can also reactivate the ad so that it again appears online. To do this, go to ‘My Ads’ section in your account and use the deactivate button associated with the ad of your choice.

How to contact a seller?

On the ad page of your interest, you will find the seller details section that allows you see the view the phone number of the seller or message the seller using the free built-in Paseero messaging service. All your messages can be found under ‘Messages’ section in your account dashboard. Note that you must registered on paseero.ng before having access to these features. If you have purchased an item from the seller, you can alternatively go to your account, to ‘Manage Orders’ section and find ‘My Purchases’. Use the action button associated with the transaction of your interest to reveal ‘Message’ button, which lets you chat with seller.

How to submit a bid?

To prevent unserious interests in auction sales, Paseero requires you to make a bidding deposit only the first time you submit a bid for a specific item. Note that you can submit multiple bids. If you lose the auction, your Paseero credits are refunded 100%. You can convert your Paseero credits to cash by requesting a cashout; please see our Terms & Conditions page. If you win the auction, you pay only the balance of the price of the item.

In your account, go to ‘Manage Orders’ section and find ‘My Sales’. Use the action button associated with the transaction of your interest to reveal the message button, which connects you to the buyer.

How to dispute a purchase?
If you have a problem with the purchase, do not confirm item receipt. Instead, you must initiate a dispute for the item purchase. Paseero will investigate the case and decide if you qualify for a refund in about 5 working days. Should you qualify for a refund, your payment will be sent to your bank account. Note that approved refunds does not include the bank transaction charges that are associated with the item purchase. Please see our Terms & Conditions page.

How does the discussion room work?

The discussion room feature allows you to publicly interact with the seller and other site users concerning any ad item. You can delete your comments by going to ‘Discussion room’ section in your account dashboard and using the delete button associated with the comment of your choice.

You can find all payment records in ‘Balance & Invoices’ section in your account. Generally, Paseero also attaches records to the emails sent to you
